KOTOR

Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is one of the best RPGs of all time IMO. It is the perfect balance of story, graphics, decision making, mystery, puzzles, action and characterization. (Statement: Only a meat bag would meet a game with such approval. Exasperated statement: But it is your opinion. Aside: Even if it is wrong.)

KOTOR II was a good game, even with entire chunks missing out of it. I still don't know what happened there. It wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still a fun ride.

So, like 99.97% of all the fans out there, when I found out KOTOR3 was an MMO, I was pissed. I don't want to play with other people and I don't want to play a nobody. I want to be the hero or ruin of the Republic, all by myself!

Then, I saw this. Now, I still hate MMOs. But this reminds me of everything that is good about Star Wars. You know, the NOT Lucas parts. XD

http://starwarsilike.blogspot.com/2009/06/sw-old-republic-jedi-vs-sith-cinematic_03.html

Saw it. Hated it. it's a bad movie. It made me cry. Twice. We are no longer on speaking terms.

(seriously, go see it. It's the most introspective film I've seen in a VERY long time)

64 weeks since an update. Interesting.

stayin alive

So many of you know me, I'm not a journal person. I just don't like talking to other people. I don't care if strangers know my business or not. I just don't like talking. But I'm gona talk anyways.

My friend Dave just lost his mother. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I know she was sick then died. feel free to leave him your condolences, so head over to www.shadowgirlscomic.com to check out the memorial artwork going on.

Mechacon Custom Contest got extended by 2 weeks. Deadline is Arpil 11th I believe. PLEASE go enter. www.mechacon.com/

I saw 10,000 B.C. If you saw the Stargate movie, you've seen 10,000 BC.

I saw Pan's Labyrinth last night for the first time. I found out that Spanish with subtitles is easier to follow than Japanese with subtitles. Maybe I understand the odd word here and there, and it helps. Either way, a total hit and miss of a movie. I don't see why people were raving about it all the time.

So I've totally gotten back into Saturday Morning Cartoons. It's odd, a 21yo getting up and watching cartoons. The ones I like are Johnny Test, Legion of Superheros, The Batman, and of course, Transformers Animated. I'll be giving the new Spiderman a whirl as well, but I'm 100% sure it'll suck. And I have to watch Transformers on YouTube. :( The Batman is cool, but this last season has really gone downhill. It's becoming Justice League all over again. I was much happier with seasons 1-4, and I still grin every time I see Batgirl (I love her). But Robin SUCKS. I do like the designs though, unlike a lot of people.

The new issue of Cereal Geek is out. Go buy it now!

That's about all I got.

Beast Wars Nostalgia

Ya know, Once in a while, fortunately more often then what is prolly healthy ;) , I get these bouts of nostalgia for Beast Wars. OMFG, that was the best show of all time. I mean, that show quite literally defined my childhood. Yes, Batman TAS was wonderful, Pinky and the Brain was great, and even Tail Spins was fun, but Beast Wars just came along at just the right point in my life to have maximum impact with least amount of force. It was, in it's entirety, perfect from a nostalgia perspective. Yes, yes, I know it had some flaws. But it beat out that 22 min weekly toy commercial they called G1, and yes I know people look at G1 the same way I look at BW. But Beast Wars had something worthwhile. It had a story. And what a story it was.

Then Beast Machines same along. I actually liked Beast Machines. Granted, 2/3rds of the first season is useless. However, the 2nd season more then made up for that. The only thing missing from that show that would have just put it so much higher in mine and other people's ratings, is an extra 2 seconds on the last episode. Cybertron is now a plant, the sparks are saved, and everyone is celebrating as they run over the hills. Cheetor can now hear the Oracle, and everything is going to be fine. Yay!

Pan out to space. A green Cybertron slowly revolving. In space, a set of red glowing eyes fade in, followed by ominous laughter. And the eyes rotate to five different sets as five different voices laugh in succession.

That's all it would have taken. It still would have pissed people off, but it wouldn't have made them /so/ mad.

But anyways, back to Beast Wars. Best. Show. EVER. I still need Season 1. :( That had some of the best episodes in it. The Low Road. Double Jeopardy. And my personal favorite, Gorilla Warfare.

Man I love Beast Wars.

like turnning on a light switch

Every creative cell in my body just flared up, full blast. My determination is back. I can actually think again. Better than that, I can imagine! Ironically enough, with my brilliance has always been born of panic. I think I got a full time job, which means I will no longer have time to write. My sub conscious picks up on that and *BOOM* every door opens. Ideas, stories, kitbashes, life, exercise, time lines, all of it just started flowing. And most happily of all, I know I can write again! I have every kind of idea flowing into my head. From imaginary to real life, from domestic affairs to world affairs, from government to the after life, it all just started flowing again. It's times like these that I thank God for the wonderful brain he gave me, and ask forgiveness for squandering it.

Here's an example: I know how to fix Spiderman. I can take him in perfectly natural steps, through his natural evolution, advancing the character development that he's lagged behind in for 10 years. I can reaffirm his relationship with Felicia, hold him and MJ together, fix all the damage that's been done if House of M, The Other, Avengers and Civil War. And most importantly, I can kill Aunt May in a perfectly healthy way, where it is impossible even in comics to bring her back, and journey through the deep emotional ditch while still holding readers to every page. I can do it. I just need the chance.

I did something that is still a little shocking, I've been meaning to do it for a year. Somehow during my mental block, I managed to compose a letter to a famous author (I'm not telling who) and essentially told her that I would love to write the next trilogy of her sci-fi series. I got a letter back. It was a forwarding service, so I sent it again. Still exciting. :p

So yes, everything is happening. I'm not going to Botcon this year, and I know that. But I get to do more important things. 6 weeks till school's out, and Convention season is almost here. I really hope I get that job.

I need to go exercise now. I've gained 5 pounds last week and 10 last month. I'm glad something finally gave.

All praise to Him who reigns above!

EDIT: A 9:30 min mile. Not bad for not having run in almost 3 years and a personal best.

Christmas

Christmas. A joining of the two words, Christ and Mass. Mass meaning to worship, and Christ being he Messiah, the Savior, God incarnate. So basically the very word itself means to Worship God. People often use Xmas in place of Christ. In Latin, X is the word for Christ. But to me, it just doesn't seem right to take out God and replace him with an X.

It's no wonder people have a problem with Christmas. They don't want to be reminded of why we're here. They don't want to be reminded that we should be indentured servants to the King. They want to wipe out every reference to Christ, God, and any morals that run contrary to their guild-ridden conscience.

In this day and age, it should be our civic duty to put Christ back in everything we do. Not a Christian? Okay, I'm not putting a gun to your head and forcing you to forge a personal relationship with your Creator and Savior. But you know what? What part about "Thou Shall Not" and "Do Unto Others" do you hate so much?

So instead of a baby in a manger (sans the 3 Magi. Historically inaccurate) people seek to tear it out by the root, and place an obese in dead animal hide that terrifies children. Replace Him with snowmen and reindeer. But what blows me away the most is the Angles. People can have Angles but no God? What's wrong with this picture? Hey, here's a kick in the lug nuts. It's Christmas Eve. Blow the dust of that Bible and read Luke chapter 2. You might l8ike it. Here, I'll help. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke%202&version=49

So I'm taking a stand. I'm drawing a line in the sand. It's not Happy Holidays, Merry Xmas, Hanukah, Kwaanza or Yule. It's Christmas. It's God Worship. It's the birthday of God in the Flesh. And I'm saying it far and wide.

Merry CHRISTMAS every one. God bless us all, and to all a good night.

job!

So I came home from school today, utterly exhausted. Gym wore me out. As I'm driving home, I realize that I really need gas, and I don't have any money. I try to recycle some cans for cash, but they weren't open. Closed a few hours earlier than their sign says. While I'm away, my mom makes a phone call. When I come back, she says to call a woman and talk with her. I call and she's on her way to the store, and she doesn't care who I am or what I'm doing, she needs to hire me. So now I'm sitting here filling out paperwork, getting ready top go to work tomorrow. Once more I am employed. Unfortunately, I am now an employee. Yippie.

God REALLY must have wanted me to have this job for some reason. This was the fastest and easiest job I've ever gotten.

I hate this fandom

I forgot why I quit. Oh yeah. I looked. Please kill me now.

The Botcon Tigertron pics came out (kinda) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v605/Tm_Silverclaw/

People saw them and went "GASP! MUST HAVE!!!!!111!!!0ne11!" Mind you, these are the exact same frelling people who complained that we were getting BW toys at all, because they either weren't GeeWun, or Tigertron shouldn't be part of it because, apparently he was never alive on the Axalon. F***ing idiots.

Not, I don't mind havign an opinion. Heck, I share mine with a lot of people. What I do mind is people who put doen other's opinions as being less then dirt, because they didn't coem from said person's divine lips. And THEN they have the gaul to go and change their mind. It goes soemthing like this.

*person shows botcon exclusive pics*
supahtf#1fanguygeewun: "I refuse to look at these! I don't support MC! Loo how badly they screwed up! Tigertron never was on Cybertron. He was a blank protoform that was gifted life on Earth. He was born durring the BW!"
*supahtf#1fanguygeewun looks at pics several months later*
supahtf#1fanguygeewun: "WOW! These are beautiful! Guy, look at these! Why have I never seen these before. I MUST have this now. But I still don't support MC. I know. I'll spend double the price of the entire set on ebay to get this one toy that is stolen and unfinished. I could save some of my money and get them all, but some one needs to support those ebay scalpers!"

Am I wrong? Tell me I'm wrong. Now you see why I quit.

F***ing idiots...

Look what got uploaded without me knowing!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga1tTS-sj30

I actually like this one as it is one of my vaforites. And to top it all off, I got the honor of showing Scott McNiel himself, and he said he concidered it as close to canon as possible without recutting the show. His words, not mine! Like my best friend always says, if the VA says it, that's like comming straight from the character's mouth.

fics ahoy

Okay. So I just finished a short story, and I am stampping out several more chapters to other ones I'm working on. School starts monday. My entire family leaves wednesday after noon for a trip and gets back sunday. I plan to call up my best girl friend (did that come out right?) and maybe go honky tonkin or at least do something crazy. :D

I picked up a few things today. The new Titanium Ark, which made me love my sister more because I showed here and she exclaimed, "That's not the Ark! The Ark is shapped like an arrow head. That's the shuttle from the movie!" Isn't she wonderful? I found a second SW Scourge (can you belive that? They're still out) and the CW Gunship, from the Clone Wars cartoon. I also got Psyconauts for XBox and something else that I'm not gona say... It's Marvel's Elektra... made by mattel... That's the only clues you get.

Also, my friend Terry Dodson has some art for sale. I think Rachel inked it, but I'm not sure. It's from WW#2

Issue	Page	Price

002	1	700
002	2	300
002	5	550
002	6-7	1150
002	8	400
002	9	550
002	10	850
002	11	700
002	12	700
002	13	650
002	14	1150
002	15	650
002	16	900
002	17	900
002	18	300
002	19	250
002	20	1500
002	21	1200
002	22	1300

Cool, huh? I'm not getting any unfortunatly.

I think I'm doing fairly good lately. :)

I've had it

I'm out. I'm done. I'm through.

As most of my friends know, I've been a Transfan for 10 long and wonderful years. I got hooked at the beginning of BW. I didn't even know that anything had come before. I collected the toys, and watched the show. Even come Agenda, I still didn't quite grasp G1. Around that time I finally got to see TFTM. Still made no sense, but it was kinda neat. BM came and went, and I for one liked it. It wasn't the same as BW, but especially the later half of Season 2 got really good.
Then came RID. Let me just say, I hated RID. I didn't really like Car Robots toys. They were too far a deviation from BW for me. Other people seemed to love RID. I, for one, did not. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact they that they never showed anything past episode 13, or that after 9/11, my local Fox station dropped the show all together.
After that I went to OTFCC 03. I got to hang out with my best friend Mitch/Double Spy Punch. That made the entire experience worthwhile. I walked around in a daze the entire weekend. No food, no sleep, fueled only with adrenalin. Needless to say, I don't remember much. This period also propelled the entire fandom into the dark ages: Armada.
Armada sucked. You can disagree, I don't mind. It's an opinion. But my opinion is generally held as fact on this point. Armada sucked. There were some redeeming qualities. The anti-hero Starscream, Minicon toys, perhaps a few of the other things. Gathering attention for people back into Transformers. That was about it, and that last one might have been a bad thing. Hindsight being 20/20 and all.
II liked Super Link. The toys actually had articulation, and the show was cool. Yes, Energon sucked, but SL was good. Was it the fact that I didn't understand a word being said, ergo Kicker wasn't annoying? Probably. But I still liked it. There were some great toys in the line, especially later on. The Energon Combiners were great. Wingsaber was cool. I liked the toys. I have almost all of them.
Basically while SL/E was running, I was on staff at Transfandom. I'd had experience running boards before, such as the Colony Alliance. In fact, I can count on both hands how many boards I've been an active member of that I wasn't staff on. I don't know why, but I usually end up running whatever I touch. Maybe I'm a natural leader or something. *shrug* I digress. Being staff taught me some valuable lessons: how to deal with idiots. Both those that you can mod-smack, and other staffers whom you can't. I guess I was about 16 at the time, so it was a good lesson to learn. What I ended up learning is important: I don't play well with others.

I left staff on TFD and headed back to where I'd started, so many long years before. The AllSpark. It hadn't changed. The liberals and the democrats, the idiots and the artists still had full control. And Kalidor. Nuff said there. If you don't know the full story on Kal, talk to some one else. Lets just say I rank him up there with other dictators for life like Castro. So I learned long ago to avoid the General Discussion part of all sites. At the AS, I learned to avoid the TF part for fear of getting stupidity on me. So I stuck around the art section.
Slowly I started to drift over to Deviantart, as most of my artist friends were already there, and I could be with whom I wanted. This seemed to happen at just the right time, as two things happened.
Two people, who shall remain unnamed, decided it is there personal goal in life to counter everything I say. Because after all, I know nothing about BW, and they both had their names in the show. Now, let me just say, I let a lot of things slide. I'm like a duck. Problems just roll off me like water off a duck's back. But there are a few things I won't take. Insulting Texas is at the top of my list, especially if you're a Yankee. Insulting Beast Wars, and telling me I know nothing about it is slightly below that. So to tell me that they're smarter because they've been around longer, have more toys and were in the show, ergo they're better people; that's a great way to get on my bad side. Which they did. They got bumped to the top of my short list of people that I hate on this planet. Yes, even above Muslims and gays. (that was a joke) I swear, if I see either of them at a convention, especially MY convention, they will be leaving on a stretcher and I in handcuffs. So swears Sam.
The other thing that happened was BotCon. They're doing BW this year? Neat, I like that. Oh wait, BW was perfect. That's why I hated the last couple Botcons, because they ruined BW for me. But the toys look kinda cool. I know the comic will suck, but this is still neat. Then the fighting starts, and like a fool, I stuck my head up to see what the problem was. Apparently EVERYTHING. The fans were upset that this upstart expensive "official" convention would even dare think about touching BW. Why the heck not? The last 5 cons did. But apparently logic does not apply where Transfans are concerned. The biggest argument seemed to be that everyone (read: the 2 un-named people who think they're God's gifts to mankind) thinks that the Beast Warriors didn't even exist before they crashed on earth.
Let me take not here to sate that I have a memory, clear as day, from the show. In BW P1, Optimus orders all crew to the pods. There is a shot of a lot of feet running by the screen. Then several shadowed robots crawl into the pods as they seal shut. Then Optimus orders the pods to launch. I would swear on a stack of Bibles that I saw this scene. Apparently it did not exist. But it doesn't change the fact that I remember this.
So, when I pointed out this memory, by two "friends" berate me to the point of a warning from a mod, about how can I be so stupid to remember something that doesn't exist, and how dare I try and lie to change the facts, and (again) how they know everything more then me, so I need to sit down and shut up. I let it slide. But I'm here to tell you, they're wrong. False memory or no, the premise is still correct. The point of escape pods on the ship is to have some one ESCAPE. Therefore, you must be alive to do so. Optimus, Rhinox, Cheetor and Rattrap went down with the ship because they knew they were going to die. It's fortunate that they didn't, but they launched the pods because they thought they were going to. The pods were designed to keep the Maximals inside in orbit until a ship could come along and pick them up. In the event of an early landing, the pods landed and took care of the Maximals inside, even going so far as to reformat them with beast modes. Unfortunately, only Inferno's pod managed to land without a hitch. And even then, Inferno was crazy cause Tarantulas went tampering with his programming.
So the pods crashed. Hard. This jarred the occupants. They were supposed to wake up and get out, however, there were problems. Tigertron emerged without a beast mode, exposing him to Energon radiation. This possibly screwed with his circuits. Airrazor was reduced to her base components. However, neither one of them state that they have no memory of the crew, or the ship, or Cybertron. They just don't state anything about it at all. Maybe it never came up? Who knows. Quickstrike and Silverbolt however, the computer clearly states Datatrax unrecoverable. But even then, Silverbolt knew there was a Cybertron, and knew he'd lived there at a previous point in his life. That's pretty clear, right? I mean, come on people, my MOTHER understood this. (not insulting my mother in any way, just know that trivia stuff like this isn't her strong point by any means)
So, Botcon announces the exclusives for this year are Beast Wars remolded from Cybertron toys. Cool. Crumplezone remolded as Optimus, Landmine remolded as Rhinox, Ransack repainted as Rattrap, Longrack with Hoist's head repainted as Dinobot, Override repainted as Cheetor and then subsequently repainted as Tigertron. Wow, I'm good, right? Well, I got Optimus, Rattrap and Dinobot dead on. Rhinox doesn't have a remolded head (hate the Autobot logo BTW) but Cheetor is Clocker with a repainted head. So I missed 1 1./2. But Tigertron still follows, as he did with the first BW toys.
Well, people really didn't want to hear this, and told me to go bump a stump. They were too concerned with the E Divebomb repainted as Airrazor and Terrorsaur and the cyberjet as Waspinator. Um, HELLO?! Master Collector clearly stated that they would only be using Cybertron molds. But apparently Transfans are thick headed and only hear what they want to.
Case in point. They just leaked the photos of Tigertron. People are going NUTS. "Tigartron wasn't alive! He was born on Earth! You can't dp this MC! We want Glen Halit back!" I didn't even bother saying anything. I simply logged out of my 2005 and Allspark accounts, and left.

So, since everything seems to ultimately come back to BW, and my name is Dinobot, let me do this right. I am a diehard Transfans. Diehard anythings are hard to kill. I was here from the beginning at BW. Even though I never got any, I remember the G2 toys in the store. I love conventions. Mechacon was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I love my friends. They get me through hard times, and they give me a chance to go geeky on. Mitch, Dave, Jon. These are a few of the people they watched out for the naive little kid who first stumbled through the internet lo about 10 years ago. I am eternally grateful to them, and to every one. They helped make me who I am today. And I am proud of who I am. That alone should bring a smile to their faces. I know it does me.
I love toys. I have a large collection. I get a bit of everything that I like, but mostly it all comes back to Transformers. My BW collection is almost all there. I know I have everything that I started with. And it's only grown since then. I have Microman, Minimates, GI Joe, SW, Spiderman, MLs, KTs, PVCs, odds and ends and comics and CDs. I love my stuff. I will continue to get stuff, as I like doing so and it brings me a bit of pleasure in this crazy, mixed up world. I know its not important. Only God matters. But it makes me happy so I keep at it.
So where is all this leading? I will continue to read comics. I will continue to buy toys. I will continue to go to conventions. I will continue to talk to my friends.

But from this moment forward, I am Transfan, no more.

my trip to Mechacon

So I got back from Mechacon. It was AWESOME!!! Defenitly the second best convention I've ever been to, if not the best. The ONLY reason OTFCC 03 would win is because my best friend was there. Quick recap:

I got up bright and early (4:30ish) to catch a bus out of here. Long ride. Kinda interesting, the border patrol pulled us over and searched us. Some of the locals were rather iriate, but it was interesting. I get to the station, call Pete, tell him to come pick me up. He hears "I'll call you when I get to the station". An hour later, I finally call him to see what the hold up is. He comes and gets me. We get back to the convention, I throw my stuff in the room. Check in, meet up with folks, and we're off. I paruse around the hall for a while. Buy everything I need in the first 40 mins. They didn't have anythign I was looking for. I help with staff for the rest of the week. They need a job done, I vollenteer. I got to help with the BW panel, and watch the video rooms, and all sorts of neat things. The semi-formal dinner was neat, as I got to dress up. The after Con party was cool too. I now have none of the awe for Voice Actors that I did before. I've seen them drunk. :p

That about covers it. I have so much to say that I will defenitly be updating over the next few days. I'm still kinda tried, even now. Included are a few of my favorite pictures.

Type your cut contents here.

packing packing packing

I hate triple checking stuff. It really puts a strain on my head. I'm very much a fly by the seat of my pants kinda person. Checking things three times seems redundant to me. Unless it's checking your weapon. ;)

Lets see.

I have enough clothes for 3 days, plus what I'm wearing tomorow.

Toothbrush.

toothpaste.

floss.

2 tubes of deoterant (just in case).

Bible.

Spidey dress shirt.

slacks.

Boa Fett tie (some one take pictures!).

I'm debating my boots or no.

YGO stuff to give out & My personal deck.

Customs for Rick and Jon.

Dinobot to get signed. He's wrapped in 20 ft of bubble wrap and in another box. :p

About $200 to spend. Electronic gaming mag and Megatokyo manga to read on the trip (i hope to get something to read ont he way back).

Gameboy.

I'm debating my PSP or no.

Camera.

That's all I can think of at the moment. Other thoughts?

this n' that

So it's just a few days before Mechacon. I have my bus ticket ready to go. I have a hotel room and a ride to and from the station both ways. I have events mapped out. And I'm helping out enough to make me feel like I actually earn my badge. I'm going to be working with the BW VAs all weekend. Jon also dropped a bomb on me. I'm going to be working with Rick and Tobi from TFD. Surprise surprise. I'm wondering how that will work out. I'm gona try and ignore past events and hope Tobi doesn’t go thermal nuclear on me. ;) This is really going to be a blast.
I broke down today and bought some books. I used some of my Mechacon money, however the books I got were on my shopping list. So I figured I'd just cut my losses and bring something to read. I picked up Megatokyo 1-3 and would have gotten 4 but they didn't have it. I also got a Spiderman novel. It's interesting. I haven't made it that far in, but it has Black Cat in it, so I'm very happy. Also, I like it cause it's a novel. I like reading books better then comics. Give me a nice novel any day, that's how I unwind.
I saw "The 40 Year Old Virgin" today. Interesting movie. Good message. "It's good to be a virgin when you're married". It also had toys in it. I was HAPPY!!!!!! I like toys. A lot. :D I was displeased at the ammount of cussing in it, but at least there was little to no nudity in it. I also saw "Jungle 2 Jungle" with Tim Allen. I like him. Good movie. Not as good as Galaxy Quest, however the girl was super cute. (first person that comments on her age, I kill)

Over all, I'd say things are going good. They seem to be running smoothly.

...That's never a good thing. God's about to start pruning me next thing you know. Using the BIG sheers. Good times! >.>

MECHACON!!!

8 DAYS TILL MECHACON!!!!!

I'm making my list and checking it twice. Right now I have around $150 to play with, but that includes food. Everything else is paied for. Hopefully I might have another $50-$100 comming in. We shall see. Therefore, I am priortizing. My list contains the following:

CyGirl Ash. Normally around $65-$100, I'm hoping to find one, or one like it, for around $40 with all accs. But with as expencive and as rare as these are, this might not be my lucky day.

Koto Biker Scout and Slave Leia. Again, $65-$100 each. I don't mind loose, maybe I can find a deal on both.

Microman Figs. I'm looking for the 2005/06 figs, expecially the Micro Sisters, and Acroyear X and X2 series. $5-$20 each.

Megatokyo books. Really the only manga I'm going for. If I can't find them, I can always get the full lot at Waldenbooks for $10. Hopefully I can find them BOGO free or something.

TMoHS. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya c/p cause I still can't spell it. Looking to see what kind of things they have. I doubt much and since I don't read Japanese, the novels are defenitly out. However, I did find this. Isn't she beautiful?! Too bad it's a custom!

DOA. KT Anyna player B figure $5. Also maybe a wall scroll or something simple like that. As much as I love DOA and Hitome, it's really getting pushed to the bottom of my list.

TFs/SW/Joes/Minimates I don't expect to find much. And I probably won't have much money left. But it's always nice to have a base.

I've learned from past experiences to stick my lunch money in my shoe, or I WILL SPEND IT. Do ya think that $50 would be enough for the weekend?

What do yall think? Questions, comments, snide remarks?

Oh, and I'm feeling a lot better BTW. Updates on scedule over the next few days!
